Understanding Why Your Sensitivity Feels Off After Season 1 Reloaded

If your sensitivity feels completely off after the Season 1 Reloaded update in Black Ops 6, it’s likely due to changes that the update introduced under the hood. Here are some common reasons for these sensitivity issues and how to address them.

Reason 1: Controller Deadzone Changes

One of the key factors that can cause sensitivity problems is the controller's deadzone settings. A deadzone is the area around the center of your controller’s analog sticks where inputs are ignored. Season 1 Reloaded may have introduced subtle changes to this, making movements feel different.

How to Fix It:

  1. Open the game’s settings.

  2. Under “Controller” or “Advanced Settings,” look for “Deadzone” settings.

  3. Lower the deadzone slightly (around 0.05 to 0.1), but avoid going too low, as it can cause jittering.

Reason 2: FOV (Field of View) Changes

Sometimes updates alter the FOV, which can make your sensitivity feel much faster or slower. If the update included adjustments to the FOV for certain modes, this could explain your sensitivity woes.

How to Fix It:

  1. Go to "Settings."

  2. Under the "Display" tab, check your FOV settings.

  3. For console players, an FOV setting of around 90 is usually ideal. For PC players, you can push this higher, but adjust it according to your comfort.

Reason 3: Aim Assist Tweaks

For console players, aim assist plays a big role in your sensitivity feel. Season 1 Reloaded may have slightly altered the way aim assist interacts with your aim, especially in close-quarter combat.

How to Fix It:

  1. Under the "Gameplay" settings, look for "Aim Assist."

  2. Experiment with the "Standard" or "Precision" modes.

  3. Test different aim assist strengths, as a higher value might make aiming feel too sensitive.
